- Get in a routine. Have some structure. The people who do well with weight loss and getting in exercise prioritize it by having a schedule. Have a plan, and stick to it.
- Exercise is critical for keeping the weight you lose off in the long run.
- Get more sleep. Spend less time on a phone or computer at night. Read more books.
- Walking is good. But it’s not enough to build muscle and get stronger.
- Believe you can change. If you can’t imagine yourself being a lower weight or lifting a certain amount, how do you expect it to happen?
- Look for the small wins. Substitute 1 cookie with some carrots. Park a little farther away. Little by little you’ll get better.
- Move more. Sit less. Motion is lotion.
