HOO and POO

HOO and POO

HOO, or Health Oriented Outcomes. This is stuff like improved blood pressure, improved insulin sensitivity, decreased pain, stronger muscles and bones, etc…

POO, or Performance Oriented Outcomes. This is what you can do: squat out of a chair better. Pick up your grandkids. Carry your groceries without anyone’s help.

Both are important. Both come from a proper strength training program. Improved quality of life and health are inseparable. If your abilities have been deteriorating slowly over time, you may not realize just how much you’ve lost. You might believe it’s normal to struggle with everyday activities.

It doesn’t have to be that way. You can take back control of your life.

It’s not easy. It takes hard work and consistency and showing up to train.

But, the alternative is harder. A slow decline into old age. Being weak and frail and incapable of living the life you used to. Or the life you want to.

Here’s your call to action: get up and do it today. If you can win today, then win the next day. If you need someone to guide you, we’re here to help. But it starts with you, and you must take action.
