Timed workouts can be a wonderful tool. I especially like using them to increase compliance. If life is getting crazy and you only have 30-45 minutes to train, instead of starting with a workout and trying to do it in that time frame, just comply with the time frame. Give yourself 30-45 minutes to do some squats, maybe some presses and some upper back work. Maybe you do some cardio and some bench pressing. You can train by intuition, and just get in the gym and do something. It’s hard to talk yourself out of a 30-minute workout.
